Village Hall

This page is intended to give information about the Village Hall and what is going on there.  The Village Hall is run by its own committee and is responsible for raising its own funds.

Bookings and Other Information

Following the fire and refurbishment the hall has a new kitchen, new flooring, better heating, and new decor.  It's a fantastic place for meetings, performances, or parties.

The Hall can be booked for parties, meetings and events.  Please contact June Harris on 01865 343371.

Helping Out

The Village Hall Committee is always looking for help to run the Hall. to help in its upkeep, or to bring forward ideas for new events.  If you feel you can help then the Village Hall Committee would love to hear from you.  Either contact Jenny on 01865 343459 or by e-mail or attend one of the monthly meetings.

The Village Hall Committee arranges a number of events aimed at bringing the community together and raising funds for the Hall.  These include the regular and popular film and bingo nights.

Forth-coming events:

Film Night - Saturday 18 May 2013

Yes my friends next film night is Les Miserables (sorry Johnny!).  This is a really fine adaptation of the musical based on Victor Hugo's epic novel.  Doors open at 7:30 pm.  We have had a request to do Saturday evenings so we are trying it for this event to see how people feel.  So mark your calendar for Saturday 18 May.  Tickets can be reserved by calling Jenny on 01865 343459 or by e-mail

Nuneham's Got Talent?

A small group of young performers demonstrated this brilliantly on Friday 12 April.  We have had a request to run this event again and hope to do so in the autumn.    The piano in the village hall got its first real use in a long time.

Thank you to both the performers and supporters!

Photographs of the event are included in the May 2013 newsletter.
